EAR-CATCHING THE KAWASEMI

Where's the Kawasemi? Did you find him? I remember when I took my walk and came to this spot, I was sure could hear the bird's signature trilling from that general area but just couldn't see it. So I just aimed my camera straight ahead and took a broad picture, went home and looked. Sure enough; HE WAS THERE!

You're waiting for the application, right?

Yup, sometimes, when the Holy Spirit's voice calls to us, we think we can hear Him but just can't see Him clearly. Sometimes we need to "press the shutter" (act in obedience) without concrete assurances. That's why it's all over the Bible: "If any man have an ear, let him hear." (Rev. 13:9)

Did you know that expression is more common than any other? I didn't know that until Missionary Pastor Ron Sisco mentioned it in his message. To God, IF WE LISTEN to Him or not seems more important than if we serve Him! I guess CEOs are glad employees stay busy for them but find the most meaningful relationships are those who will LISTEN to them.

(Oh--the Kawasemi is in the top right hand corner, in case you didn't find him.)
