DEAD GRASS

Pastor Yoshitaka Ishikawa, because of our Dad's friendship with his family, has watched over us like his own little sisters, always checking on our electricity, plumbing needs, etc. We so thank God for Him.

The other day, he noticed the area near the stairs looked like a rainforest and came with his sickle and cut it all down for us--yes!

The cut grass served another purpose for a furry neighbor.

Later on in the week, I looked down in the yard and saw a stray cat had found the dry grass purrfect bedding after a recent deluge.

"Just dead stuff?" Maybe. But in God's Hands, it may be the PERFECT source of comfort for some exhausted soul!

All I know is, there's one kitty nearby that likes Yoshitaka.
